The sealed cold air intake boxes are the major parts of the INFINITI Q50/Q60 Red Alpha Cold Air Intake Kit. The largest power-robbing problem that afflicts other subpar intake systems, according to our SnailWorks engineering team, is heat. For this reason, the Red Alpha air boxes were created to block the scorching engine bay temperatures. They then created air box apertures that properly match up to your car's air ducts to take advantage of the existing intake cowl that directs fresh air into the intake boxes. Our engineers continued in this manner. They discovered even more areas for design improvement when they concentrated on the other system parts.
The dry media air filters for the INFINITI Q50/Q60 Red Alpha Cold Air Intake Kit have an innovative built-in bell horn. The bell horn was integrated into the filter design by the AMS Engineering Team. This easily transitions the clean, cold air that is introduced to the system through the dry media filters into the stock MAF housings. The turbulence that causes power loss, instability, and "bucking" in other intake systems is eliminated by this design element. The silicone that feeds cold air into the two Garrett turbos was the next component to be examined. The VR30's twin turbos are fed air through a system that includes the air boxes and dry media filters. The Red Alpha silicone couplers had to adopt the idea of sending the cold air to the turbos as smoothly as possible. In order to smoothly move the cold air into the turbos, our engineers designed the silicone. To advance the concept even further, wire reinforcement was incorporated into the silicone's fabrication to ensure that the turbos' crushing vacuum forces wouldn't cause the silicone to deform. The new Red Alpha Cold Air Intake System is unlike anything else on the market in terms of design, but the performance improvements are the best feature.

In stock, non special order items can be returned within 30 days of the product arriving to your house or place of work.
Returns will NOT be accepted on Clearance Items, Final Sales, Special Orders, Opened, Installed, Incomplete, or Otherwise Used Products. In order to initiate a return, an RMA number must be requested and approved via e-mail. All returns will be subject to a 20% restocking fee minus complete shipping cost (roundtrip).
Any processed orders that have not shipped will incur a 6% cancelation refund fee unless the product was not available to ship within a timely manner. No fee will be incurred if used as store credit.
