Garrett Intercooler cores, which are 50% thicker than OEM, are used in the Alpha 991.2 Intercooler System! By dramatically cooling the charged air flow, Alpha's enormous cores provide the most power-producing intercooler modification available. The two ultra-thick 120mm Garrett cores each have 20 fins per inch of optimal fin density for unrivaled cooling.
Computer-aided design yields maximum results
Our engineering team created the end tanks for the Alpha 991.2 Intercooler with incredibly smooth features and the ideal geometry for optimal flow, producing the greatest amount of horsepower. These end tanks have better flow than the boxy sheet metal end tanks found on other intercoolers since they were designed utilizing Solidworks 3D CAD software. Then, we went a step further. The organically curved carbon fiber ducting was created by AMS Engineers to utilize every millimeter of space for the ultimate charge of cold air that produces power. Instead of absorbing heat into the intercoolers, the lower ducts made of organic carbon fiber allow it to pass into the atmosphere.
Cooler Intake Charge Boosts Power And Response
Ensuring a consistent flow of cool air to the intercoolers is absolutely critical for maximizing their performance. Some manufacturers take shortcuts by either removing the factory intercooler inlets to save costs, significantly compromising the effectiveness of the intercooler, regardless of its size. Others might require you to cut and tape the factory shrouding to the intercooler core in an attempt to create a seal, which is a better solution but not the most effective way to enhance performance.

In stock, non special order items can be returned within 30 days of the product arriving to your house or place of work.
Returns will NOT be accepted on Clearance Items, Final Sales, Special Orders, Opened, Installed, Incomplete, or Otherwise Used Products. In order to initiate a return, an RMA number must be requested and approved via e-mail. All returns will be subject to a 20% restocking fee minus complete shipping cost (roundtrip).
Any processed orders that have not shipped will incur a 6% cancelation refund fee unless the product was not available to ship within a timely manner. No fee will be incurred if used as store credit.
